Here's my special birthday picture!
I'm seven on this day! I love the old school birthday parties like this. Kids today tend to celebrate their birthday in larger than life style with pizza parties or group outings to the movies or other big events. Back in the day in the blue collar neighborhood where I grew up, we just had our parties at home, invited in our family and friends, ate some cake, pinned the tail on a donkey or two and we had fun! I'm not woofing when I say about over half these kids are my blood relatives!

I sort of have a similar picture, but I was six at the time. That's the only year my mother would allow us to have a party. Not that I cared. I never much cared for birthday celebrations ... well, mine anyway. LOL
